Idiot America: 75% of OK Students Can't Name First US President

Seventy-five percent of Oklahoma high school students cannot name the first president of the United States. So say results of a recent survey.

I'm sure Oklahoma is not the only state with such ignorant teenagers, but here's the story from a TV station in Oklahoma.

Note the full set of questions and how many "Sooner state" youth correctly answered them.

The one most correctly answered? "Which ocean is on the east coast of the United States?" Of course, more than a third got that wrong, but at least 61 percent were able to piece it together and answer "the Atlantic Ocean."
