Quotes To Ponder

One of my favorite bands is Manic Street Preachers. They are literate, diverse in style, epic an a band that has put out quality rock and roll for 20 years.

Usually their singles come with a quotation printed on the inner sleeve, and usually those quotations offer something to ponder or learn.

Below are the quotes included in the various singles the band has put out from their recent Postcards From A Young Man album.

Check 'em out, ponder, noodle, investigate, agree or reject...

"To read a poem in January is as lovely as to go for a walk in June." - John-Paul Sartre

"There is no such thing as simple. Simple is hard." - Martin Scorsese

"We are all transistors in the literal sense." - Karl Heinz Stockhausen

"One thing that success taught me is censorship." - Tracey Emin

"The middle class is a luxury capitalism can no longer afford." - John Gray

"The worst immortality is to give in, give up." - Andrea Dworkin
